Review: The Truth About Letting Go by Leigh T. Moore

Favorite Character: Jordan. He’s sweet and understanding. He was also headstrong and an overall great character. First Line: “I’m not ready for this.“ My Review: The Truth About Letting Go was a very powerful read. Moore has created a true work of art—something that can never be replaced. This novel touched the depths of my heart. It made me feel a variety of emotions. The writing was detailed, descriptive, and had a certain flow. I loved Moore’s writing style; it kept me pulled in for the course of the novel In The Truth About Letting Go, we follow the life of Ashley Lockett, as she struggles to find herself after the death of her father. Ashley grew and matured so much over the course of the novel. At first, she was heartbroken. Her best friend, her father, died of cancer, and no matter how much she prayer, no matter how much she wished, he was not coming back. She then turned into the complete opposite of what she was. She stopped going to church. She started doing bad things. And she got involved with Colt. Colt was a character that I honestly did not like for all but the last of the novel.
