You’re trying to save him and he’s hoping you can. You two are a disaster.’ I smiled at the ceiling. ‘It doesn’t matter what or why it is. When it’s good, Kara… it’s beautiful.’” Favorite Character: Travis. It was nice seeing the vulnerable side of a male character because you don’t see that often. His insecurity is absolutely adorable! First Line: “Everything in the room screamed that I didn’t belong.” My Musings: Wow. I was not expecting to be utterly addicted to this book. At first I was a bit skeptical with this novel. I had heard that it was good, but at sometimes not so young adult-ish. Yes, there were mature themes and all, but that enhanced the story rather than took away from it. McGuire’s way of writing was impeccable. Even with the grammatical errors present in the ARC version that I read, nothing could tarnish the amazing story.
