Blog Tour: Unafraid by Melody Grace

Check out my review of Unbroken (Beachwood Bay #1) Favorite Quote(s): “‘Some horses will never be tamed,’ Grandpa used to tell me. ‘The only way you get through is to earn their respect. You’ve got to learn what they’re so scared about, because the wildest ones…Well, those are the ones that are the most scared of all.’” “Imagine how different life would be with someone holding you like this every day, doting on you. Caring. You could do anything, knowing you had a partner, somebody to rely on. I’ve only ever been able to rely on myself.” Favorite Character: Hunter. Sa-woon. First Line: (Hunter–prologue) “My grandpa trained horses his whole life.” (Brit-Chapter 1) “It’s Friday night in Beachwood Bay, which means there’s only one place to go: Jimmy’s.” My Musings: Unafraid by Melody Grace was a novel that I was looking forward to. They’re such great, well written supporting characters that I can’t help but be drawn to them. First Line: “Mom always told me there are two kinds of love in this world: the steady breeze, and the hurricane.” My Musings: Unbroken was all that I thought it would be. It was a mix between heartbreak, heartache, and a passionate love that consumes everything in its path. Melody Grace was written a beautiful debut novel. In this novel, we follow Juliet as she is shoved back into the town where her heart was broken four years prior–and the man who did it is still there. And he will do anything to get her back. Regardless of the fact that Juliet has created a new life for herself–a new, steady boyfriend, a job lined up, and graduation in the few coming months, Juliet cannot help but be pulled back into the hurricane that is Emerson Ray. I really enjoyed reading from Juliet’s point of view. She was such a complex character–constantly going back and forth between what was safe and what her heart desired. She had genuine feelings towards those that she let down, as well as her first love. She […]
