Mini-Review: Unfixable by Tessa Bailey

And it’s usually right. It knows you better than you know yourself.” “’It’s inevitable, Willa. We are inevitable. When you stop fooling yourself, come find me.’” Unfixable was the first Tessa Bailey novel that I’ve read, and boy was it a great read! It follows main character Willa as she ventures to Ireland to do some self-discovery after a breakup. There, she stays at the Claymore Inn, which is in the process of being sold by Shane Claymore, a racer determined to get back into the circuit after settling family affairs. Unfixable was a well-written novel. I enjoyed the way that Bailey wrote the characters. They were very unique, and Willa was especially relatable as a character. And of course, who doesn’t love a guy with an accent?! And factor in the fact that he’s a bad boy racer? That means an extremely swoony guy, along with some heart pounding chemistry. Moreover, I enjoyed the complications brought on by the characters’ pasts. It added to the uniqueness of the novel, and made it hard to put down!
