Review: Chameleon by Kelly Oram

In this novel, we are introduced to a world full of various supernatural creatures: warlocks, witches, seers, vampires, werewolves–everything under the sun. Danielle grew up in a small tow in Pennsylvania with the company of her parents, her best friend Russ, and Russ’ father Alex. On Dani’s sixteenth birthday, Russ tells her that he’s a warlock. Soon, Dani is thrust into the world of the supernatural and is told that she is to fulfill the great prophecy. This novel definitely was not boring. There was such a great and busy story line that it never got dull. There were also some unexpected twists and turns and misleadings that you never exactly knew what was going to happen. Dani was the leading lady. She was definitely a strong character. She was a bit of a trouble maker, tough, and didn’t take crap from anyone. She was brave and strong when faced with kidnappers, torture, and everything else evil in the world. She was an inspiration, and she wanted to go what was right. In that way, she was also a very selfless character, and I immensely enjoyed reading about her adventures. This novel definitely has a love triangle in it.
