Review: Rush by Eve Silver

I’m usually not the type of person to read sci-fi dystopian novels, just because it is so hard for me to find one that I genuinely enjoy. However, I’ve seen great things about Eve Silver’s Rush so I thought I’d give it a try. Rush was a very interesting novel that definitely kept my interest. It was action packed and suspenseful. The premise was unlike anything that I’ve read so it was really something different for me. The pacing was fast but not hard to keep up with. There weren’t any boring points and I literally could not put the book down! Miki was the main protagonist. She was hit by a car saving a little girl and was pulled into the Game. I thought she was a very strong character, dealing with all of the things that they were forced to do in the game. She was also a great leader. She was determined and caring. She grew a lot in this novel, from shocked and curious girl to fearless leader, and I can’t wait to see how else she changes in the next novel.
