Blog Tour: Ember Launch (Entangled Teen’s new line)

“Our fires burn brightly for our readers and as a way to say thanks to our readers we’ve launched our latest division of Entangled Teen and it’s name is Ember. We have two exciting launch titles: Darker Days by Jus Accardo and Chaos by Christine O’Neil. Read away!” Entangled Teen Ember is a division of Entangled Teen that specializes in digital-first YAs Chaos by Christine O’Neil My name is Maggie Raynard. After sixteen years being just plain me, suddenly, when I lose my temper, my fingers become weapons of mass destruction. Turns out I’m a semi-god, descended from Aphrodite. Sounds cool in theory, but when I accidentally put my ex-boyfriend in a coma, things go downhill pretty fast. Now some new guy named Mac Finnegan has made it his mission in life to continually piss me off. I’m stuck learning how to use my new powers while also dealing with regular high school problems, and with this annoying and super-hot—guy all up in my business, I’m about to flip out. But it gets worse. I just learned there’s this watchdog council of semis who keep an eye out for any bad apples. They think I’m the baddest one in the bunch and want to take me out before I do any more damage. My nemesis Mac might turn out to be my salvation, only he’s got secrets of his own…and they […]

Blog Tour: Smash Into You by Shelly Crane

We’re delighted to welcome Shelly Crane to the blog to answer a few questions for us today! RR: Tell us a little bit about yourself. SC: I’m a mom and wife first and foremost. And then I’m a YA author of lots of books that concentrate on the love people look for and find. We live in Florida, otherwise known as Hot-as-Hades, and I have two boys that keep me plenty busy when I’m not writing. RR: Can you tell us a little about your upcoming novel(s)? SC: I’m all about the love.  I write YA romances that don’t focus on the situations around a couple and how they battle falling in love. My stories focus on the couple falling in love while situations happen around them. My stories are meaningful and light, and very lovey. SMASH INTO YOU is by far my most intense, but you’ll still find the sweet love there. Later in the year, I have the next two WIDE AWAKE novels with the new characters which I’m so excited about. Main goal? I want you feeling like you’ve gone on a journey where you watched someone learn something about themselves and you’re somehow happier and giddy when you finish one of my novels. RR: If you could have any of your characters as a best friend, which one would you pick and why? SC: Definitely […]

Blog Tour: Jordyn and the Caverns of Gloom by Tiffany King

Let’s give a warm welcome to the AMAZING Tiffany King! Today we have some questions for her. I am also proud to announce that she’s my author for Indie-Credible! So if there is anything in particular that you’d like to see, let us know! And let’s get to it! RR: Can you tell us a bit about your upcoming novels? TK: I’m very excited to announce that I recently sold my New Adult series, The Woodfalls Girls to Berkley Publishing. The deal includes my book, No Attachments and two follow up books. I also started a YA Contemporary series called the Seasons of Love series. Book one, titled, Turtle Bay, is in the hands of my agent right now. I’m also working on a Christmas themed NA novella that should be released in November. Keep checking my website for updates. RR: I positively adore Emrys’s character. I just have to ask–how did you pick his name? TK: The name Emrys means immortal, so it fit the character perfectly. Plus, I love the way it rolls off your tongue. RR: Jordyn is a strong and amusing female character with a very unique personality. Is her personality based off of someone that you know? TK: Jordyn is one of my favorite characters, and such a blast to write. I love her spunk. She is not based on anyone in particular. Most […]

Blog Tour: Authors are Rockstars with Amanda Ashby

Today on Rampant Readers we are excited to have Amanda Ashby as our Rockstar author! Amanda is a rockstar simply because she’s just that awesome. She’s super nice and thoughtful, and she writes some fantastic books! With unique plots that will pull you in from start to finish, how can’t she be considered a rockstar? We’re honored to have Amanda answer some questions for us today! And because she’s such an amazing author, she’s hosting a giveaway for a copy of her newest YA book, Demonosity! You can also check out my review of A Fairy Bad Day HERE. RR: Tell us a little bit about yourself. AA: I am a very sensible mother of two who never embarrasses her children by discoing dancing in the house. Well, never on a Tuesday! But in all seriousness apart from embarrassing my children I’m pretty normal. I read a lot of books, watch a lot of television and eat a lot of chocolate! I also run a small vintage stall at our local markets, which I love (and it’s also the reason I made my current heroine Cassidy wear vintage clothing so that she could share my obsession!) RR: Can you tell us a little about your upcoming novel(s)? AA: Demonosity is the story of Cassidy Carter-Lewis who can’t make a decision to save her life. She can’t even decide what her […]

Blog Tour: Charmed Vengeance by Suzanne Lazear

What’s the best advice you can give writers to help them develop their own unique voice and style? Being a writer is a process. It’s a lot about figuring out what works for you. Some people write every day for a certain amount of time, some people write a certain amount for words, some people just can’t write every single day.  Some people need silence, some people write to music. Do you plot, pants, or puzzle? Do you have to write the book in order or would you rather write scenes as they come to you. One way to both figure out what works for you—and your voice—is to just write. I wrote nine books before I sold INNOCENT DARKNESS. Some of those books were really bad. However, I learned while writing them. I learned about plots, creating snapping beginnings and great characters, and how stories probably shouldn’t be 120k. I also learned I was better at writing YA than for adults. I didn’t just write in a vacuum. If I did I’d probably be writing overly long books with no plots. Where writing can be very solitary, I joined several writers groups and critique groups—both online and in person. I took writing workshops online. I learned to take criticism. I read a lot. I also tried writing other things. I wrote a couple of YAs. A steampunk. Some paranormal […]

Blog Tour: Near and Far by Nicole Williams

Tour organized by: AToMR Tours Check out my review of Lost & Found (Lost & Found #1) Favorite Quote(s): “She’d always grumble a little and try to pretend she was all put out I’d risked life and limb to get to her twenty hours sooner than planned, but one smile and shrug from me melted that act. She was a sucker for my smile. It got to her. Every. Single. Time.” “‘I don’t know what all you art people call your snooz-fest get-togethers. Give me a break, rown. I don’t speak Lame.’ ‘And I don’t speak Idiot,’ I grumbled. Next time Jesse couldn’t pick me up and Garth black showed up in his place, I was hitching a ride back to Willow Springs. Or hoofing it.” Favorite Character: Jesse Walker. First Line: “Sometimes love was about compromise, and sometimes it was about sacrifice.” My Musings: I’ve been pining for this book since the moment I read the last sentence of Lost and Found–even when there was no word of whether or not there would be a sequel. So when I read Nicole’s blog post about Near and Far, I had a major freak out. When I was accepted for the blog tour, I nearly died. So when I found out I had no time at all to read this book because of school prep and college visits, I almost cried. But […]

Goodreads | Amazon | B&N     “Do I look okay to you, asshole? What the fuck were you thinking? Blog Tour: Undertow by Leigh T. Moore

Undertow, the shocking sequel to Dragonfly, is OUT NOW! Early Readers are saying… “An incredibly powerful sequel to Dragonfly. I found myself riveted to the last page by the depth of feeling, loss, tragedy, and love in this gorgeously woven story. A definite must-read.” –Jolene Perry, author of Out of Play “As far as a second book for a series goes, Undertow knocked it out of the park.” –Jessica, Bend in the Binding reviews “My God I am so emotional! I have to give a huge KUDOS to Leigh because she knows how to write a story like no one’s business!” –Tee, Diary of a Book Addict reviews “Undertow pulled me under and left me gasping for air and wanting so much more. I couldn’t stop thinking about these characters, and now I’ll never be able to get a shirtless Bill Kyser out of my head.” –Magan Vernon, bestselling author of The Only Exception “Amazing! The characters are lovely, but they’re also flawed–that sort of ‘realness’ and honesty breathes life into them and is truly refreshing to come across as a reader. A fantastic story with a unique execution.” –Kristin, Goodreads reviewer Check out my review of Dragonfly (Dragonfly #1) Favorite Quote(s): Of course, my quote is about Julian and Anna! “I was sure we could face whatever happened and make it through. My mind was on the future. Us together.” Favorite Character: Julian First Line: “Day after Christmas, and it […]

First Line: “‘There he is!’” My Musings: Way back when, I was a part of the blog tour for the Boys of Summer by C.J Duggan, so I couldn’t pass it up when I got the email for the blog tour sign ups for this second, companion novel.
